Andean Chullo Hat Kit

This cap is inspired by the Andean Chullo (pronounced tchoo-yo), a traditional garment knit by Andean men, women and children. We offer this brightly-colored geometric pattern along with all the yarn you will need to complete it. The hat is knit from the earflaps-up, with applied I-cord and tassels to finish. You can make more than one hat from this kit by rearranging the colors! Simply cross out and rename the colors as you’d like—but be sure to follow the charts accordingly. This is a “choose your own adventure” style design; simply plug in the charted design of your choice when the pattern calls for it to make your own unique hat. Finished Size: 20-21" circumference.
Due to the popularity of the kit, we have had to substitute some colors. Kit includes one 50 gram ball each of Palette in Sweet Potato, White, Navy - substitution for Bark, Semolina, Pimento, Blue, Clover, Tumeric - substitution for Masala and Sky - substitution for Pool, along with pattern and charts.
