Memories of Ukraine Pullover Pattern

Directions for this project inThe Natural Knitter, shown below. This uniquely designed pullover is knit in the round from the top down so there are no seams to finish with; simply block and wear. The open lace pattern will keep you challenged while knitting and receive many compliments when worn. Shown in lusciously soft Andean Treasure Wild Rose Heather. (Both models who tried this sweater on during the photoshoot wanted to take it home with them!)
Note: The original sweater in the book was knit in linen; our sample is in alpaca. Because alpaca has so much more drape, we used one-third less yarn. This is reflected in our yarn requirements below. Alpaca is idea for this sweater because it lends cozy warmth while the airiness of the lace keeps the alpaca from getting uncomfortably hot.- Needles:
