These toe-up socks begin with a wide toe. The gusset shaping is worked at the center of the instep which allows the instep cables to move along the side of the foot and end when they are incorporated into the heel flap. The heel is turned using short rows and the heel flap is worked in a standard slip-stitch pattern.
Notes are provided on adjusting foot length. The instep, gusset and leg stitch patterns are charted only.
