Modern Boho Textured Lumbar Pillow
The idea behind this design is to use a neutral palette but infuse interest through an over-abundance of texture. The pattern features a variety of textured stitches on the front, with further interest added via contrast color 3-needle bind-off edgings and tassels. While the pattern will work with any bulky weight yarn, I would encourage you to play around with adding even more texture by mixing bases and using different fibers. You can even use varying weights if you want to get really crazy!
The pattern is intended to fit a standard 12"x20" lumbar pillow and is knit in the round from short-end to short-end. The textured patterns are featured on the front of the pillow only with simple stockinette across the back making the pillow reversible if you so choose! A provisional cast-on allows for the pillow to be blocked before stuffing with the option to add a zipper if you'd like the cover to be removable.
