Designed for smaller feet, these socks are knit mostly in stockinette, with some twisted rib features. The twisted rib fins and tail toe creates a fishy affect. Knit cuff down, the two jaws are knit separately before being joined in the round. The fins are knit separately from the sock, then sewn onto the sock at the end. Eye sockets aids with button placement and create an additional visual feature. This pattern is written to work for any kind of knitting - whether that's double pointed needles, two circular needles, a circular needle with magic loop, or any other in the round knitting style.

Your only limit in yarn choice is yarn weight, this pattern shines in all colors and types. Rainbow fish, blue fish, pink fish, grey fish - your options are limitless! Heathered yarn, tweed, striped, variegated, you really can't go wrong!

Don't worry too much if your gauge isn't an exact match, as long as you're working up a relatively standard sock yarn gauge, you should be just fine.
