Tide Turning
Turn of the Tide is one of Yanni's earlier compositions; a melody that presents the interplay of soft waves and raging storms that the sea bestows. And so, the cables in Tide Turning present calm, straight lines that twist and turn before they once again become tranquil.
Tide Turning is a saddle-shoulder pullover worked from the top down. The saddle cable pattern extends all the way down the sleeves to the cuffs; the body is worked in Stockinette stitch. Sleeve caps are shaped using short rows for a great fit. The body, cuffs and neckline are finished in 1x1 ribbing and completed with a tubular bind off.
The pattern is written for knitters who can follow 'continue in pattern' directions with ease. Both charts and written directions for charts are provided.
