Zig Your Zag Cowl
MC Escher's mathematical artwork, Relativity, depicts steps ascending and descending in all directions, defying not only normal laws of gravity but logic. The zigzag stitch used in this pattern is a way to echo Escher's famous artwork.
Worked in the round, the Zig Your Zag Cowl utilizes two contrasting colors to create visual interest and movement, while the slip stitches that shift placement every two rows adds loads of texture.
